Thanks for checking out our about us page! We're currently working on a fancy, more customized write-up, but for now, you should know that The Life Abroad was founded by Zach and Cindy, two recent grads and close cousins from the sunny city of Los Angeles, California.

This blog/advice site originally came about as a result of Zach (yours truly) and his major travel addiction. Cindy couldn't really let him set this up without her assistance, as she (probably) knew that without her, he'd go galavanting around on his umpteenth pub crawl and forget about his brand new travel site.

Be sure to stick around! Our mission is serious—we want to help travelers discover how amazing it can be to work and travel the world at the same time without contributing to overtourism and harmful practices in their nomadic journey. At the same time, we're making content, so expect some memes along the way, chief!
